Breathtaking videos from above the airport of Budapest
The Hungarian Defence Forces and Wizz Air celebrated their agreement above the airport with a breathtaking parade. Furthermore, they made an amazing video and shared it on social media. You can watch it below.
The Hungarian Army and the low-cost airline signed a deal about training pilots and flight attendants. Based on the contract, crew serving on the military’s Airbus A319s will be trained at Wizz Air’s centre in Budapest following the same program the company uses to train their pilots. In return,
Wizz Air can use the airport of Kecskemét.
After the paperwork, Wizz Air’s A321neo, a passenger career, and the military’s Airbus flew in formation accompanied by four Gripen fighters above the Liszt Ferenc International Airport.
According to MTI,
the renovation work on the second runway of Budapest’s Liszt Ferenc International Airport will start on Monday
and will be carried out by Budapest Airport in a single phase. The maintenance and refurbishment of the runway and taxiways coincide with a severe drop in passenger numbers linked to travel restrictions due to the coronavirus epidemic, the airport’s operator said in a statement on Sunday.
Taxiway drainage will be repaired, thermometers and navigation and lighting systems will be maintained while minor repairs to the concrete surface will be carried out to ensure flight safety. Runway strips will be repainted and the burnt rubber of wheels caused by landing will be scraped off of the landing zone, the statement said. Aircraft will be restricted to the 1st runway for take-off and landing, it said, adding that runway and taxiway maintenance takes place every year to ensure maximum airport safety.

Watched the video. Nothing breathtaking there, pretty humdrum stuff, hardly the Red Arrows!
Wizz Air is known as ‘Worst Air’ in the UK. In flight service is ok but other than that their customer service is truly dreadful.
